Memorial Day Weekend

The three of us went to the Indy 500 over the Memorial Day weekend. Cliff's Dad took us to the airport. Here we are getting ready to leave.

Cecilia was not feeling so great so she either cried or slept most of the time on planes. The last leg from Chicago to SLC she slept the entire time. I'm sure the passengers on the plane would have appreciated it if they only knew.

Cecilia checking out her temporary sleeping quarters. She loved it.

While Cliff and I went to the race and Cecilia got some fun play time with her cousins. I wish I would have got some more pictures of the cousins but here are some fun ones.

finally a civilized picture of the pretty Taylor.

Taylor my niece, me, and Wendy my sister.
I feel bad that I didn't get any other pictures of their family. Next time we are together I'll make sure to get a ton.

We had a great time at the race and got to see a lot of very interesting things. They have this production figured out really good. Getting in, parked, to our seats, out to the car and out of lot to the freeway was a very smooth operation. Our weather was fantastic and the crowd was a little more civil than expected. Here are some pictures from the race.

Some very interesting art that we were so fortunate to walk right behind. I bet his wife is proud.

I hope they charged double for this thing.

You got some great pictures! It is fun to see the race from an actual spectator position instead of the reporters or tv cameras. We sure loved having you here!
