Weekend Getaway

We were able to run away for the weekend last weekend. Among scoping out the best area to stick our poles and sink some bait we came across a few fun things.

This is the shadow of Cliff's truck in the morning sun.

This is some part to a section of a new dam that was just completed late last year. I want to say that its part of the turbine but I could be wrong. Yes I was wrong, its part of the mechanism that opens and lets water out of the dam.

Cecilia and her Daddy sinking some bait together. Little hard to see the fishing pole but if you click on the picture I believe that it will enlarge it. Or if you look really hard it is right between their heads.

such a helper, finishing off daddy's coffee (kidding it was empty)

It was pretty cold that morning so we had a few layers on all of us.

Our little camp complete with play pen for Cecilia. She had a great time in it and in the dirt.

Starvation Reservoir, pretty windy that day and no luck with the fish but we got to hang out and relax and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

A beautiful flower that Cliff picked for me. Such a sweet guy.

(There are 2 new videos to the left taken over the weekend as well)
