We have families, yes many families of quail in our back yard again this year. I was trying to get a good up close shot but from far away they tend to run if you try to get too close.. ha. There are a couple of babies in the grass and the ever present parents. Its been fun to see the gazillion little babes this spring.
Here is our babe kind of feeding herself. She loves to play with it and is getting the hang of the spoon to mouth but is finding it thrilling to get some food on her finger and eat from there. What ever makes her happy and quiet while we are trying to eat.
