Moon Lake - Ashley National Forest 2010

We were able to get away a few weeks ago and spent a few hours at Moon Lake in the Ashley National Forest. Cliff got to fish, I got to relax and enjoy the kids playing. Cecilia mostly played in the sand and water with her bucket and shovel. Picking up dry sand, dunking it into water and then filling a bucket with wet sand is fascinating.. okay at least for a 3 year old it is. Drake spent most of his time testing the edges of the blanket and playing with the toys on the blanket. He did join Cecilia and me a few times for a walk down the beach to find some tracks and fun stuff to throw into the water. We had such a pleasant day, the weather cooperated and so did most everything else. Here are some photos from that day.
