Halloween day we had a nice time. It was great weather and it was on a Saturday. The weather alone was a huge BONUS for Utah. Cecilia dressed up as a Hula girl, thank you Leah for the outfit, coconut shell top and all. Drake dressed up as a Little Devil. It must have been opposite day because he is far from little and he is far from a devil. He is a good baby most all of the time unless he is uncomfortable, hungry, soiled, stuck burp, or tired.
We had a fun time trick-or-treating Grandpa Kano's house and then coming back to the house to pass out candy to the kids trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We did not have near enough kids and were left with WAY too much candy. Next year I won't buy as much and Murphy's Law we will end up with not enough candy... ugg. . can't win for losing sometimes. One teenage boy probably 11 or 12 really put a lot of thought and time into his costume.. he was wearing a hooded sweatshirt. Poor kid didn't get by without me asking what he was supposed to be dressed as... the response I got was "whatever".. I gave him candy anyway. If Halloween were to come again next month I would have a great strategy.. but since its a whole year away I'll forget that I was going to come up with something clever and I'm sure I will do the same thing next year to the hooded sweatshirt kid. I just hope its not the same kid. I'm sure I'll forget that part and the part where I meant to take pictures of the pumpkins we carved... UG :>
