March 2007

Can it be April already? So far this month has been a good month everything is going very well for me, Cliff and the little one. We had a doctor's appointment on Monday of this week. I have another appointment in 2 weeks from now and then the appointments move to every week. We are in the homeward stretch. Baby was head down at the last ultrasound which was about a month ago and the doctor said was still head down on Monday's visit.

I'm at 35 weeks and she is measuring 38 weeks. Doctor said everything is going just great and was very pleased with everything. I get to go into the doctors office twice a week for them to do a non-stress test on the baby. They hook some monitors up to my belly to hear and track her heart beat and movements as well as any contractions. I also get to keep track of my blood pressure a couple of times a week and my blood sugar levels I get to test 4 times a day so I know how much insulin to give myself in the evenings. All of these levels are where the doctor wants them to be and is very happy that I don't have any swelling in my ankles so far. I'm feel pretty good most of the time. Things are starting to get a little more awkward and I feel more and more clumsy but I'm sure that is to be expected. Our little one is getting plenty of exercise and sometimes it almost feels like she is swinging from her umbilical cord so I've taken to calling her my little monkey. Cliff is a great help with everything and is at all of the doctor appointments with me. I couldn't ask for a more supportive, not to mention handsome husband.

Since we don't have any other fun pictures as of yet of much of anything. I am posting some pictures of our two cats. They are almost a year old and they are slowing down FAST! They will play for about 3 or 4 throws of a toy mouse and then they are done.

Stormy - not very happy that I'm trying to take pictures of her so early in the morning. She's probably thinking "please just go away so I can tear your house apart".

Cliff caught Onyx sleeping on a chair and occasionally she gets her extremely long tongue stuck part way out and doesn't notice. We appreciate her not noticing because we get such a good laugh out of it.

trying very hard to figure out what we are giggling at.

a little better being closer........... and................

the best for last... These took over a minute to take all of them. She really doesn't realize that something is getting dried out.
